What Do I Read Next?

As usual, I'm indecisive so help me decide what to read next by voting on the poll to the right. I'll read whichever book wins when I'm done with The Gaslight Dogs and leave the poll up until I'm finished with it. And I just might run another poll when I need to choose one of the books I bought to read after that because I'm really torn about whether to read the new Carol Berg, the new Robin Hobb, the next Snow Queen book or Night's Master or a lot of other books...

For this one, I picked some of the ones that seemed to get the most interest from the comments and threw in a couple of others. This time the choices are:

Changeless by Gail Carriger
The Folding Knife by K. J. Parker
The Last Stormlord by Glenda Larke
Master of None by Sonya Bateman
The Midnight Mayor by Kate Griffin
Servant of a Dark God by John Brown

I ordered copies of CHANGELESS and THE FOLDING KNIFE.
Now I want to know more about THE LAST STORMLORD. Therefore I voted for THE LAST STORMLORD.

I can't wait to read THE GASLIGHT DOGS and CHANGELESS....

I still haven't read the first Gail Carriger book - I don't think my library has it yet (or if it will). Hmmmm. I like the sound of The Folding Knife, The Last Stormlord and The Midnight Mayor.

Hmmm. I was going to go with The Last Stormlord, as my library has it, but I just checked and my library has all three. I'm going to go with The Folding Knife, even though I'm dying to know what you think of The Last Stormlord. I feel like some politics, and I think the Folding Knife might offer that :)

I'd vote, but I'm a little biased. *G* So, I'll just wait and read the review of the one you pick when you're done. :-)

Hi Kristen. The Stormlord sounds interesting, but on the other hand I'm halfway through The Folding Knife myself and enjoying it quite a bit.

Ladybug - Changeless does look great. Even if it doesn't win, I'm still reading it sometime soon.

ediFanoB - The Last Stormlord does sound interesting. I'm also looking forward to both Changeless and The Folding Knife. Right now I'm about 100 pages into The Gaslight Dogs. It's good so far but not amazing.

Cassie - That seems to be the consensus since those two books are in the lead!

Josh - Glad to hear you enjoyed Servant of a Dark God. I love the title.

Orannia - That's too bad that your library doesn't have Soulless - it was very good and I'm really looking forward to reading the new one. I think those books are only out in the US now, but I heard they are coming out in the UK soon so maybe they'll start making the rounds in other countries as well.

And I agree, The Last Stormlord and The Folding Knife both sound very good.

Sonya - Even if Master of None isn't the next one I read, I hope to read it at some point. It sounds interesting.

Benjamin - Glad to hear you are enjoying The Folding Knife. I'm looking forward to it even more now!
